My first publication credit came at age 9 or 10 in the Friends of the Arabian Horse Newsletter.

My first writing award was a top placing in the Tattered Cover Short Story Contest while I was still in high school.

I went to film school when I was 17 and promptly terrified myself, but before I left I did manage to tell classmate Francis Lawrence that I thought the video track he was on was lame compared to the film track I was on. HAHAHAHA.  Please see his IMDB filmography to see how negatively influenced he was by his choice: The Hunger Games; Water for Elephants; I Am Legend and Constantine, among others. (And no, I didn’t keep in touch with him.)

My homebase is Colorado and I flitter between California and New York as often as possible.

Places I love: Tomorrowland, London, Paris, and my spiritual home, Greece

Secret to success: laughing.

I’ve learned to manage my unbounded enthusiasm for everything. Playing full out is the only way I know how.

Bucketlist itinerary includes: swimming the English Channel; time traveling to the library in Alexandria; living in Italy.

Favorite actors: Carole Lombard and River Phoenix

Music is life.

Along with Albert Einstein, I choose to believe we live in a friendly universe.
